Having first recorded with Schoeps microphones in 1990 whilst still a student at Music Conservatoire, the Colette series of Schoeps microphones have consistently provided the most natural sound and best tonal qualities to the recordings that I have ever been involved with over the years. The Schoeps Colette series have sounded fantastic in a wide range of venues, especially the Christopher Wren designed churches of London. Schoeps continually develop their range of products with new microphone capsules and pre-amplifiers that have risen to modern day challenges like RFI intereference and with these they have excelled with electronic design whilst keeping the best sound quality. Schoeps has been my go-to microphone for many classical, jazz and broadcast recording projects.
